In “Butterfly Teachings: Metamorphosis to Consciousness” Satya translates the stages of the Monarch’s metamorphosis into the process of transformation she experienced during her long healing from a surprise heart attack. Satya is a Mother and Grandmother, but is often called the ‘Butterfly Mama’, as she has raised and released over 250 Monarchs over the last several years. Seeing through her lens of personal growth, she photographed, wrote and learned about the stages nature provides us in the Monarch’s journey of egg to butterfly. In this book, she used this metaphor of change for her own heart health, and now takes us through the process we might experience going through in our dark night of transformation. Just as she and the Monarchs did in “Butterfly Teachings”, we all emerge with brighter colors and a higher perspective.
